All Saints Day is always on November 1
It should be celebrated in church on the last Sunday in October or first Sunday in November.
Congregational ministry on the day we remember those who from their labors rest
There is a strong correlation between promoting bequest giving and annual fundraising. A study by the University of Michigan showed a 25-40% increase in annual giving when organizations actively promote endowment and bequest giving. That is why All Saints Sunday is an ideal time to add bequest giving to your annual giving stewardship campaigns in the fall.
Many churches provide pastoral ministry focus on this day by caring for those who grieve the loss of loved ones in their lives and the congregation.
To help you this year, the Methodists Helping Methodists Foundation will provide resources to enhance the Pastoral Ministry associated with this day. The Foundation will also provide Educational Ministry curriculum to remember all the Saints of our churches and Financial Stewardship Ministry tools to honor past gifts and invite future planned gifts with a focus on bequest and endowment giving.
The resource guide is now available and will be updated with new information periodically.
